The R&I team collaborate with different departments across BCHC, academics, industrial partners and other healthcare providers in a wide variety of research projects to improve the standard of care given to our patients. Below are some recent examples that have come into fruition…
New Community Scale for Wheelchair-bound Patients

This scale was developed through a collaboration between R&I and Dietetics teams at BCHC, Marsden Scales and MidTECH services. You can read more about it on the MidTECH website

This handbook is designed to be used by clinicians within the children and families division. The handbook is designed to be used as a reference guide to support agile working. Enabling responsive, safe, reliable and evidence based care to be delivered to all children under the care of the division.
